Shovelware Studios LLC ("Shovelware Studios," "we," "us," or "our") provides Task Buddy, a household task and recurring-responsibility organizer. Task Buddy does not require a Shovelware Studios account and does not contain advertising or analytics.
Profiles, task names and descriptions, schedules, checklist steps, completion history, preferences, and related household-organizer data are stored locally on the user's device. Shovelware Studios does not receive, sell, or use this information for advertising or marketing.
On supported Android devices, users can request a private cloud backup through the device's Google backup service. The backup is associated with the user's Google account and is not accessible to Shovelware Studios. Users may also export or import backup files. Exporting or sharing occurs only when the user requests it and chooses a destination app or service; that destination's privacy practices then apply.
If Task Buddy is sold through an app store, the store processes the transaction. Shovelware Studios does not receive the user's full payment-card or banking details.
Because Shovelware Studios does not operate a Task Buddy account or data server, it has no developer-held Task Buddy records to delete. Users control local data by deleting profiles and tasks, clearing app storage, or uninstalling the app. Device backups can be managed through the user's Google account and device settings.
Task Buddy is intended for a general audience and is not directed specifically to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.
